Welcome to Morgan County, nestled in the Appalachian Mountains, approximately 90 miles west of the Baltimore/Washington, DC metropolitan area. The town of Bath, also known as Berkeley Springs, is the county seat and where the organizations showcased here are located. Famous for being the first "spa" in the country, Bath is where George Washington and many of his contemporaries, cronies, and family came to bathe in the restorative mineral springs. Morgan County is fortunate to have an extremely active community. Small town that we are, we are not at a loss for things to do. Considering the county's diversity, born and raised or "city transplants,", there are a myriad of non-profit organizations actively engaging and promoting literacy to helping the environment. For more information, visit www.berkeleysprings.com. Associated with each organization page is an events calendar, photo albums of previous events, and application forms. We will continue to update our site with additional information and organizations, so be sure to check in every now and then. The Morgan
