WORKSHOP/DEMONSTRATION/SEMINAR APPLICATION

Once again, the Morgan County Fair Board is planning another spectacular Fair! As each year passes we continue striving to bring to Morgan County events and attractions of interest to the community. The events planned this year should be the talk of the town!

Our goal is multifaceted:

Provide the community an opportunity to exhibit their talents by entering prized
recipes, arts, crafts, horticulture, agriculture, animals, etc.

Provide educational and instructional avenues for the exchange of old and new
ideas and traditions.

Support and promote local talent and entertainment.

The Board would like to solicit your support in helping to make this year's Fair a success. As outlined above, one of our goals is to provide educational and instructional avenues for the exchange of old and new ideas and traditions. What better way than to tap into the expertise and knowledge of individuals such as yourself!

We know of no other two-day event in the county where people of all ages have an opportunity to:

Re-discover the local heritage

Enjoy a variety of exceptional music

Showcase talents, skills and prized entries

Savor wonderful foods

Learn about various techniques and traditions

Interface with local organizations

The Fair Board would like to expand last year's workshops to include a broader variety of interests. If you are interested in conducting a 30-minute to 1-hour presentation or demonstration, please complete the form below and return it to the WV Extension Office, 129 Fairfax Street, Berkeley Springs, WV. 25411 (304-258-8400). If you would like to be a vendor or set up a display, deduct $25.00 from the vendor fee to compensate for conducting a workshop/demonstration. Applications can be found on our Web site at www.morgancounty-wv.org under "Fair Applications and Rules".
