Did you ever dream of standing on that podium receiving a Gold Medal in the Olympics? Well, your dream can become a reality. Back by popular demand at this year's fair is the Farm Olympics on Saturday August 4th, at 7:30 p.m.

How can you quality? Simply register a team of at least 2 members. Junior members must be at least 11-18 years of age. Senior members must be 19 or older. Teams may consist of family members, churches, organizations, and businesses. So organize a team and make your dream a reality.

Can you back a lawn tractor, stack hay, toss grain, herd cows, or gather eggs? If you answered yes to any of those then we have an event for you! Enter your team and participate in the seven events: Stack'n Hay, C'mon Back, Go'n To Town, Toss'n Grain, Fetch'n Eggs, and Herdin Livestock. The fee for this event is FREE. The top three winning teams in each division will receive awards and a cash prize, so start training now - you only have two months to practice and get in shape. Teams

Teams consist of at least 2 people, but no more than 4 of any gender. Junior Division members must be at least 11-18 years of age. Senior Division members must be at least 19 years of age or older.

General Rules

ü Individual team contestants must have signed a waiver of liability form with the WV Extension Office.
 ü Entry Fee - FREE. Limited to the first 20 teams.
ü The decisions of the judges are final. No protests will be allowed.
ü Ties: in case of ties in the events, the points will be added and split. In case of tie for the overall winning team, the team with the most  event wins will be named the winning team.
ü The points for placing in an event are as follows:

1st  Place -  20 points
2nd Place - 15 points
3rd Place -  10 points
4th Place -     5 points
5th Place -     2 points

Events

1. Stack'n Hay - Teams stack bales of hay one on top of the other. The tallest stack wins. Timed event.
2. C'mon Back - Teams back a lawn tractor. (NOTE: Junior Division teams will use a wagon.) The blindfolded driver must heed the directions of the other team member. The fastest team wins.
3. Go'n To Town -Teams race to town in a wheelbarrow. Each team will bring a wheelbarrow for participation. The fastest time wins.
4. Toss'n Grain - Teams toss a sack of grain. The greatest distance wins.
5. Get'n Eggs - One team member gathers eggs and finds the boiled egg by cracking it on another team member's head. The first team to find the boiled egg wins.
6. Herdin Livestock - Two members from each team use a potato (cow) and a yard stick  to move their potatoes through an obstacle course which mimics moving cattle from one field to another. The team that gets their potatoes to the finish line in the quickest time wins.
